Out Of Uniform?

Yesterday I told you that Bryan Singer might not be back to helm the Superman sequel, Man of Steel...

And now there's a rumor that star Brandon Routh (pictured), might be flying away as well...Or will he?

Trading In The Tights?

Latino Review the same outlet that broke Routh's casting in Superman Returns, claims that the site's Kelvin Chavez "knew about Brandon not being the new Superman for weeks and weeks now, but made a promise to the DC people that he wouldn't break the story."

The site further adds that they have heard that whomever is cast as Superman in the now-delayed Justice League of America movie --D.J. Cotrona was last rumored for the role in JLA -- will also play the character in the sequel to Returns.

According to Aint it cool news late today though...

Moriarty says he got off the phone with someone in the know at the studio who has confirmed that Routh is still The Man of Steel:, And that the rumor is bogus...

At this point--It's any one's guess as to what's really going on here...But past history tells me that AICN has a better track record with this kind of stuff than Latino Review...
