Variety reports that Ethan Hawke and Kristin Scott Thomas will star in a big screen adaptation of the Douglas Kennedy novel The Woman in the FifthThe story follws Harry Ricks (Hawke) who flees "to Paris in the wake of a scandal that cost him his job as a film lecturer at a small university. He takes up with a widow (Scott Thomas) who might be involved in a series of murders."
Director Pawel Pawlikowski is going to begin shooting the film this March in Paris.
Hawke reunites with Antoine Fuqua ("Training Day") for the March 5th cop drama Brooklyn's Finest
