Alexandra Daddario stars as Heather, who travels to Texas to collect her inheritance which includes her killer cousin Leatherface. R&B singer Trey Songz (Ugh! really!) has landed the role of Heather's boyfriend.
John Luessenhop ("Takers") calls action on the The Texas Chainsaw Massacre film series which picks up on events after Tobe Hooper's original 1974 horror classic in which Sally Hardesty (Marilyn Burns) was the sole surviving escapee of a group of friends who fall victim to a family of cannibals.
Luessenhop says of Yeager's casting "[having] huge farm boy arms, a brooding brow. He's quiet, circumspect, and immediately struck a menacing chord with me. After five minutes, I could no longer think of anyone else for the role."
