The first theatical trailer for the comic book reboot The Amazing Spider-Man has spun its web.
Andrew Garfield Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen Chris Zylka Emma Stone Denis Leary and Sally Field star.
The script penned by James Vanderbilt and Alvin Sargent sees the wall crawler take on the Lizard (Ifans) Marc Webb called action.
A release date is set for July 3, 2012.
I felt a strange sense of Deja Vu watching this but not so much to the Spider-Man films of the past but rather it felt very much like a trailer for Batman Begins in terms of tone and dialogue.
