Crispin Glover has replaced William H. Macy in the movie adaptation of Elmore Leonard's crime novel "Freaky Deaky" says Variety.
Leonard’s classic 1970's-set book follows a former radical turned romance novelist who tracks down her old partner in crime, a movie special effects man, for one last score. Their target: a wealthy alcoholic whom she blames for sending her to prison. Trouble is, she ain't the only one after him as both a suspended cop and a former Black Panther want to join in on the gig.
Charles Matthau wrote the adapted screenplay and will call the shots.
Macy left the pic then Sienna Miller (in the hippie role) was also attached at one point but dropped out to be replaced by Katie Cassidy.
Matt Dillon, Brendan Fraser and Craig Robinson rushed for the exit door eairlier this month They have already been replaced by Billy Burke, Michael Jai White and Christian Slater.
Tom Arnold is circling the role as Glover's brother while newcomer Breanne Racano and Roger Bart co-star
Casting has been a mery-go-round here Camilla Belle Sam Rockwell and Hayden Christensen were linked to the pic as well further back than that
