Variety offers up the release date for the highly anticipated Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins...May 22 2009
This release date means the sequel will be locked in a head to head battle with Night at the Museum 2: Escape from the Smithsonian.
The last Museum flick took in more than $100 million more than Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines did worldwide. But Terminator's head start as a franchise, overall buzz, a popular star Christian Bale headlines, mean that, the CGI animals will have a tougher time. I'm betting on some heavy metal...
Production on T4 is due to start on May 5 in New Mexico.
