Affairs Of The "Hart"

Josh Hartnett (pictured) will star in "I Come with the Rain," a drama that will shoot in Hong Kong in June, according to Michael Fleming of Variety.

Anh Hung Tran ("The Scent of Green Papaya") will direct from a script he wrote.

Hartnett will play a private detective who, haunted by a past encounter with a serial killer, heads for the Far East to search for a missing heir who has the power to heal with his touch. Tran Nu Yen-Khe also stars.

... Hartnett is in production on "August," and next will be seen opposite Samuel L. Jackson in the Rod Lurie -directed "Resurrecting the Champ" and in the David Slade-directed "30 Days of Night"

Harnett's been in some solid stuff recently. I am a big fan of the twisty revenge flick Lucky Number Slevin I also thought The Black Dahlia was much better than most folks gave it credit for.

He certainly is keeping busy with three additional films in deck in 2007. "Rain" has an intriguing enough premise...
