The new live-action film version of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe entitled "Grayskull" has been canceled so says the gang at Latino Review.The studio apparently gave executives at Silver Pictures a short list of A-list directors they would consider making the film with and funny enough most of those passed.
The few remaining up and coming directors who were up for the job however weren't comfortable enough for the suits.
I wonder if the box office performance of Speed Racer made everyone a bit skid dish about moving this cartoon to film along any further.
Another reason is that two executives who were championing the project at Silver Pictures left the company last month.
The script by Justin Marks has been reviewed online...And seemed quite positive
