The story centers on a 1944 murder that brought together future writers Allen Ginsberg , William S. Burroughs (pictured) and Jack Kerouac - the trio would rise to prominence in the late 50's and were nicknamed the Beat Generation. Their works are seen as a precursor to the sixties counterculture movement.
John Krokidas and Austin Bunn wrote the screenplay from which Krokidas will direct.
