Cast Fills Out For Latest Film Version Of Shakespeare's Macbeth

Jack Reynor, Paddy Considine, David Thewlis, Sean Harris and Elizabeth Debicki have joined the newest film adaptation of author William Shakespeare's classic play Macbeth says Screen.

This "visceral" version contains major battle scenes, is set in the 11th century, and will be performed in "the original language".

Oscar winner Marion Cotillard replaced Natalie Portman as Lady Macbeth opposite Michael Fassbender in the title role

Justin Kurzel ("Snowtown") helms this update from a script adaptation by Todd Louiso and Jacob Koskoff.

The movie will be produced by Iain Canning and Emile Sherman.

Production has just begun for a seven week shoot in Scotland and England.

It was reported last July that Nat would visit Israel to scout locations for a new film based on author Amos Oz autobiographical novel "A Tale of Love and Darkness". Portman makes her feature directorial debut on that film in which she'll also star.
