Forster Charts Brown's "Red Rising"

Marc Forster ("World War Z") is attached to direct a film version of author Pierce Brown's just-released novel "Red Rising" says Deadline

Set on a Mars ruled by a class system, the story follows a man who is a 'Red,' the lowest member of society who was born to toil in the planet's bowels. Suffering both a devastating loss and betrayal, he becomes a revolutionary, out to bring about social justice.

Brown penned the adapted script

Joe Roth, Palak Patel and Renee Wolf are producing the film.

The project is expected to be Forster's next film.
