The Wrap reports that a sequel to this weekend's Lego Movie is moving ahead.
Jared Stern ("The Internship") and Michelle Morgan (“Girl Most Likely”)
are attached to pen the script. Stern is a member of the Warner Bros animation 'Brain Trust' - a group that includes the first Lego film's
writer-directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, along with "Crazy, Stupid, Love" writer-directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, and "The Muppets" scribe Nicholas Stoller.
BoxOffice tracking estimates indicate that "The LEGO Movie" could gross upwards of $40 million this weekend at the U.S. box-office.
