Freddie Prinze Jr ("Scooby-Doo" pictured) and partner Conrad Jackson are producing crime thriller "Manslaughter" through their [production company], Hunga Rican Entertainment along with IKM Prods.
Jackson... is also writing and directing. James K. Jones and Patrick Moses will produce for IKM, and Prinze will exec produce.
"Manslaughter" follows five college students looking for fun in the Philippines. The students find themselves embroiled in a manslaughter they try to cover up, leaving them scrambling for their lives.
Production is expected to begin filming in May in Los Angeles. Prinze has a cameo role in the film.
Prinze next will be seen in "Brooklyn Rules."
I really think Prinze is quite talented. All he needs is that one project to showcase those skills. I actually enjoyed his short-lived sitcom Freddie from last season...Hey--It made me laugh...
"Rules" hits theaters (limited) on May 18th 2007.
