Moore's hoping to direct a remake of the 1978 conspiracy thriller "Capricorn One" according to Variety.
Peter Buchman wrote the new screenplay which is described as yet another attempt at, reimagining of a story rather than taking what's been done before and just updating it for a modern audience.
The original flick centers on a group of astronauts of from an aborted mission to Mars.
Hmm...I consider the Peter Hyams-directed original an OK flick for its time but that's as far as I go. Perhaps the remake will utilize the conspiracy angle differently
For those keeping a tally Moore also directed the recent remakes of "Flight of the Phoenix" and "The Omen".
