After its boffo debut in Januauary, news of a Cloverfield sequel quickly spread, now those plans for a follow up are on hold.Director Matt Reeves told Collider that a sequel depends on finding a good idea – something as fresh as the concept behind the first movie was.
That’s good news, because I was afraid we were about to have another Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 situation on our hands.
