Production on the Lindsay Lohan romantic comedy "Labor Pains" is about to restart says Variety
Lohan plays an assistant, working in an uptight publishing house, who fakes a pregnancy to avoid her overbearing boss from sacking her. She not only gets to keep her job, but her luck also begins to change.

The project was put on hold due to the financial challenges that Capital Films has been facing - the same company behind David O. Russell's Nailed which has been shut down 3 separate times during filming, but is still going forward with shooting to set to wrap in three weeks.
Lara Shapiro is directing from a screenplay she co-wrote with Stacey Kramer, and shooting begins in Burbank next week.
It sounds like the premise uses a few of the same beats as Lohan's 2006 effort Just My Luck.
