Could Spike Lee Direct Oldboy Remake?

Spike Lee is in talks to direct the Hollywood remake of Chan-wook Park's 2003 cult classic "Old Boy" says Twitchfilm.


The original film followwed a man's mysterious kidnapping, 15-year imprisonment and feverish quest for revenge upon being released.

Two remake attempts have been made almost since the first film's release with Justin Lin and Nicolas Cage taking on one version, while Will Smith and Steven Spielberg were looking to do the second Both fell apart

The project came back to life late last year and with. Mark Protosevich writing the new script

Doug Davison and Roy Lee will be producing.
