Patrick Sean Smith, creator of the TV show Greek", has been hired to write the film adaptation of Jeff Smith's independent comic "Bone" says Heat Vision Blog.
The fantasy story tells of three cousins from the Bone family who find themselves in a mysterious valley where they are separated and hunted by other creatures ruled by an evil force called the Lord of the Locusts.
P.J. Hogan ("Muriel's Wedding," "My Best Friend's Wedding") is now attached to direct.
Dan Lin and Jon Silk will produce the film
