The film chronicles the inspiring story of boxer Vinny Pazienza who broke his neck in a car accident but came back to win three more world titles after being told by doctors that he'd never walk again.
Younger will perform a rewrite of the script by Angelo Pizzo.
Chad A. Verdi and Noah Kraft ("Loosies") are producing the film
Production kicks off in September.
