Gomez Sees The Sky Everywhere

Singer and former "Wizards of Waverly Place" star Selena Gomez and July Moon Productions, Inc have optioned author Jandy Nelson's book The Sky Is Everywhere says Deadline.

Gomez will develop the film as a star vehicle for her.

In it she would play play 17-year old Lennie Walker, a bookworm and band geek who lives in the shadow of her extroverted older sister. When her sister suddenly dies, Lennie is left to juggle her sister’s grieving boyfriend and a budding musician from Paris.
