Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson are in final negotiations to star in the horror flick "The Conjuring" according to Variety.
The film is inspired by the House of Darkness House of Light and the Perron family who claimed they "lived among the dead" in the 1970s as spirits both friendly and sinister inhabited their Rhode Island farmhouse.
The screenplay is written by Chad Hayes and Carey Hayes from which James Wan will direct
Wilson's casting marks a reunion with Wan, who directed him in the low-budget horror hit Insidious, which also revolved around a family living in a haunted house
Peter Safran and Tony DeRosa-Grund are producing
The film is set to begin production in March in North Carolina.
