Riseborough & Kurylenko Join Kosinski's Next

Andrea Riseborough ("W.E.," "Happy-Go-Lucky") and Olga Kurylenko ("Quantum of Solace," "Hitman") have joined the cast of the now untitled sci-fi epic formerly known as "Oblivion" and later "Horizons" according to Deadline.

Based upon director Joseph Kosinski's own graphic novel Oblivion which he created for Radical Comics the action is set in an apocalyptic future where most people live high in the sky due to Earth's surface being uninhabitable, a soldier (Tom Cruise) stuck on the ground goes about his job repairing hunter drones which seek out and destroy members of a savage alien race. He soon comes upon a beautiful and mysterous woman (Riseborough-making her American film debut) whose craft has crashed nearby and together they set out on an epic adventure.

Jessica Chastain was previously cast in one of the two key female roles, but the untitled pic seemingly conflicts with Untitled Bin Laden Thriller.

Michael Arndt is said to be performing a re-write of the adapted script by William Monahan and Karl Gajdusek.

The film is scheduled to start shooting some time in the first quarter of 2012.
