MOS: Young Lana Is Cast; Supes & Young Fan

13-year-old actress Jadin Gould ("Battle: Los Angeles") will play a young Lana Lang in Zack Snyder's still filming big budget reboot Superman: Man of Steel according to The Superman Site.

Gould will reportedly appear in flashback sequences as Clark Kent is growing up in Smallville.

Meanwhile a spiffy new photo of Cavill posing with a young fan while wearing his iconic Superman costume is making the rounds.

MOS also stars Henry Cavill Amy Adams Michael Shannon Kevin Costner Diane Lane Antje Traue Christopher Meloni Harry Lennix Laurence Fishburne Russell Crowe and Ayelet Zurer. Bradley Cooper is said to be in talks to make a cameo appearance as Lex Luthor as a set-up for sequels. But that's not been confirmed. Emmy-winning actor Richard Schiff  will play Dr. Hamilton.

David S. Goyer wrote the first screenplay draft based on a story he concocted with Christopher Nolan with bro Jonah Nolan taking a crack at the task as well Kurt Johnstad did rewrites

Charles Roven, Emma Thomas Deborah Snyder, and Nolan will be producers on the film.

MOS flies into theaters June 14th 2013.
