"Welcome to Yesterday" Delayed By A Few Months

Heat Vision reports that just weeks out from its February 28th release the found footage time travel film Welcome to Yesterday has been pushed back. The film will now open some time this Summer or in the Fall, a new date has not been set.

The time travel film, ala Chronicle meets The Butterfly Effect meets Frequency previously titled Almanac follows a teen who after seeing an older version of himself at his own 7th birthday, discovers plans his father was working on to build a time machine and he and his pals decide to build it. Soon after putting the thing together they learn that after so many jumps in time, things are "spiraling out of control" and they have to go back in time to fix it.

Sofia Black-d'Elia, Allen Evangelista, Ginny Gardner, Sam Lerner and Jonny Weston star.

Dean Israelite directed the film using a script written by Jason Pagan and Andrew Stark.

Platinum Dunes pals Michael Bay Andrew Form and Brad Fuller are set to produce the film.
