Carrey Wanted For Bruce Sequel

It is hoped that Jim Carrey will reprise his role from "Bruce Almighty" in another sequel says The Press Associaton.

The 2003 original saw Carrey as TV news reporter Bruce Nolan offered the opportunity to be God for a week.

The 2007 sequel/spin-off "Evan Almighty" followed Bruce's former colleague Evan Baxter (Steve Carell) called upon to rebuild Noah's Ark.

Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel are writing the new script.  The entire project is still in early stages, and there's no word if Morgan Freeman would return to play God, or if Jennifer Aniston would reprise her girlfriend role from the original pic.
