Tom Wheeler ("Puss in Boots") and Robbie Thompson ("Supernatural") are writing the script, the plot details of which are being kept secret. All that is known is that it's being called a "real science adventure thriller with an undersea component".
Michael Bay Andrew Form and Brad Fuller are set to produce the film.
The project is being considered as a potential directing vehicle for Bay who is currently putting the finishing touches on "Transformers: Age Of Extinction" set for release on June 27th, 2014.
