Hollywood Backwash is confirming that the "Fool's Gold" and "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" duo plan to reunite in the do-over of 1978's "Foul Play" which starred Chevy Chase and Hudson's mother Goldie Hawn.
Hawn played a shy divorcee who finds herself an unwilling participant in an elaborate scheme to assassinate of the Pope on a visit to our country. The film owed a lot to the work of Alfred Hitchcock,
Kate and Matt seem to have that same kind of chemistry that Hawn and Chase shared for 2 films-Foul and Seems Like Old Times. As much as I think the older version should remain untouched---This could work out just fine.
