John Stockwell will direct the supernatural thriller "Sanctuary" reports VariertyThe story, based on bestselling author John Connolly's novel "Bad Men," centers on a single mom and her son who take refuge from her ex-husband on a haunted island off the Maine coast.
Stockwell is a solid director depending on the material. I hope this turns out better than his stinkly Turistas
Stephen Susco adapted the script and will executive produce the flick. Production will begin late 2008/early 2009.
