Willem Dafoe will join Taylor Kitsch and Lynn Collins in the fantasy epic "John Carter Of Mars" says Variety.Based upon the novels by Edgar Rice Burroughs Dafoe plays Tars Tarkas, a fierce green Martian warrior who is unusual among his savage race for his ability to love.
Tars develops an alliance with John Carter (Kitsch) and battles alongside him through the entire series.
Andrew Stanton directs the pic from a script he co-wrote with Mark Andrews.
Having already played the Green Goblin in Spider-Man--At least he's comfy being green
