X Joins Eclipse

Rising Aussie actor Xavier Samuel has joined the cast of "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse", the third film in the series reports The Risky Biz Blog.

In this installment(Kristen Stewart) must chose between her love for werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and the vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson).

Samuel plays a "newborn vampire" named Riley, a good-looking college student who joins in the plot of villain Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre) to murder Bella. . Riley is corrupted by Victoria, for whom he has an inexplicable weakness.



Eclipse will be released June 30, 2010, under the helm of David Slade.
