Director Robert Schwentke (who is next in theaters with August 14th's "The Time Traveler's Wife") is in talks to direct the comic book thriller adaptation "Red" says the gang over at Cinema Blend.
Morgan Freeman and Bruce Willis are already set to star in the spy film which follows a former black-ops agent forced out of retirement when a high-tech assassin threatens him and his girlfriend.
Erich and Jon Hoeber wrote the adapted screenplay while Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are producing the pic.
