2 more graphic novels are being adapted for the big screen...

*Uber-Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has picked up feature rights to Ashley Wood's graphic novel "World War Robot" reports Variety.

The story is recounted as a war-diary by participants on both sides, centering on a small band of humans and robots facing off in a battle on Earth, the moon and Mars.

WE INTERUPT THIS POST TO BRING YOI THE FOLLOWING RUMOR...

There are reports out there in cyber space that Pirates of the Caribbean 4 may be directed by song and dance man Rob Marshall, of “Nine” and Chicago fame...Nothing is official yet but a deal is said to be close.

Marshall takes over for franchise helmer Gore Verbinski--who decided to move on...Bruckheimer produces.... Johnny Depp is back as Captain Jack Sparrow before taking on The Lone Ranger...

If Marshall does take over P4 can we expect to see a singing and dancing Sparrow?...Sorry I couldn't resist the easy joke
WE NOW RETURN TO OUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED POST...

*Sydney-based FX company Animal Logic has won the film rights to the mystery/horror graphic novel "Amazon.com: Night Mary" says The Hollywood Reporter.
