Bruce Willis has joined the cast of the high-concept sci-fi thriller "Looper" says Deadline.
The story follows a group of assassins (Loopers) working for a crime syndicate who eliminate and dispose of captive targets that are sent to them. The genius however is that the syndicate exists three decades into the future.
Meaning Loopers dispose of a corpse that doesn't technically exist, while in the future the targets have truly vanished without a trace.
The film focuses on a man that has been sent back in time to kill himself.
"Brick" and The Brothers Bloom, filmmaker Rian Johnson directs
Joseph Gordon-Levitt, (who starred in Johnson’s great film Brick) and Willis will play the younger and older incarnations of the lead character
