Heroic Actions

Greg Berlanti (writer of the Green Lantern movie) was set to direct the speedster's story on the big screen.

Speaking to investors, studio chairman and CEO Barry Meyer revealed that they were “nearing” a greenlight on the flick for a possible 2012 debut.

Meyer also spoke about their other superhero properties. He repeated that Christopher Nolan’s Batman 3 was set for July 20, 2012 with David Goyer rumored to be writing it with Jonathan Nolan (The Dark Knight).

And then there's that the new Superman movie—produced by Nolan and written by Goyer (Batman Begins) and rumored to be called Superman: Man of Steel —saying it was scheduled for the 2012 holiday season. Even as Superman lawsuits rage on....

Meyer also revealed that the studio was had films for Wonder Woman, Aquaman , in development as well.

Is it just me or do the WB and DC Comics suits like to update us on their film slate without really saying anything new?

--Except that they are close to green lighting everything
