Emma Watson will co-star in the coming-of-age-drama The Perks Of Being A Wallflower says VarietyThe Harry Potter star will appear opposite Logan Lerman in the film about a nervous unpopular teen who chronicles his difficulties in a series of letters to an anonymous correspondent
Author Stephen Chbosky who wrote the book will adapt the script and direct the pic for producer John Malkovich.
The book deals with tough topics like drugs, sex and suicide and caused a stir with some parents when it was published.
Chbosky also created the cult TV series "Jericho"
