Wayne McClammy has been tapped to direct Isla Fisher in Desperados says The Hollywood Reporter.
The comedy follows Fisher's character who sends an outraged email to a guy who doesn't call her back after sex - only to learn that he's in a coma in New Mexico.She then takes a cross-country trip with her pals in an attempt to erase the email before he wakes up.
Written by Ellen Rapoport--Production is expected to begin by the end of the year-for release sometime next year.
McClammy's claim to fame is of course those riotous Jimmy Kimmel viral music videos-I'm F**king Matt Damon & Ben Affleck. I hope McClammy has a good script to work from because the premise could go either way.
