I actually saw Empire before I watched Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, and proudly think it's the BEST of the six part film saga...

Directed by Irvin Kershner the sequel is perfect in every way.

Creator George Lucas came up with great things that writers Lawrence Kasdan and the late Leigh Brackett fleshed out in grand style...Inrroducing fans to Jedi Master Yoda, Lando (Billy Dee Williams) the Emperor (Clive Revill) and bounty hunter Boba Fett (Jeremy Bulloch), a budding romance between Solo (Harrison Ford) and Leia (Carrie Fisher)

Exciting escapes a few laughs provided by C-3P0 (Anthony Daniels) and John Williams fantastic score ice the sci-fi cake with one of the best cliffhangers before or since...

Thanks to the Empire team for making my first visit to a "Galaxy Far Far Away" so great!
