Several months ago both CHUD and Cinematical both speculated about Andy and Larry Wachowski/Lana Wachowski 's top secret sci-fi war movie...Now Deadline has learned a few details about the storyline which will focus on a gay relationship between a US soldier and an Iraqi citizen.
The pair have apparently completed the script which, unlike say "Brokeback Mountain", this pic aims to be explicit enough to yield a "hard R".
The sci-fi angle comes in as part of the narrative--The story begins in the near future and will look back at events over several years including the current Iraq War
The film is likely to be their next pic and the duo is looking for financiers.
