Fassbender Finds A "Woman"?

Michael Fassbender is the front runner to star in the thriller The Woman in Black says The Playlist.

An adaptation of the book by Susan Hill follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps, who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, and his unease grows when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black.

Jane Goldman is adapting the screenplay for the 3-D big screen version with Eden Lake's James Watkins calling the shots.

The book has also been adapted into a memorable stage play that has been done around the world for over two decades.

It's also had a life as a hard-to-find 1989 low-budget TV movie

Colin Farrell was previously linked to the role but looks to have bowed out with his recent commitments to Seth Gordon's comedy Horrible Bosses. and the "Fright Night" remake.
