Wood Comes Down With "Cooties"

Bloody Disgusting reports that Cary Murnion and Jonathan Milott will replace Ace Norton at the helm of "Cooties".

The action begins when a mysterious virus hits an isolated elementary school. The pre-adolescent child students are soon turned into a feral swarm of mindless savages, leading to a motley band of teachers in the fight of their lives against the terrorizing pupils.

Actor and "Saw" co-creator Leigh Whannell stars in and co-wrote the film with Ian Brennan who will also make an appearance.

Murnion and Milott will make their feature film directing debut on the film.

Elijah Wood produces and stars in the film as well

Production begins on July 15th in Los Angeles.
