Neeson Signs For "Taken 3"


Liam Neeson is is closing a deal reportedly worth around $20 million to star in the action sequel Taken 3 says  Deadline.

Neeson would reprise his role as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent who likes to beat up bad guys. Neeson was under contract to return for the first sequel for which he earned around $15 million.

The first "Taken" had good reviews and took in $226 million worldwide from a $25 million budget. Taken 2 despite having poor reviews, still made an impressive $376 million from its $45 million budget.

No deals are yet in place for actresses Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen to play Mills' daughter and wife.

Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen are working on the script with Besson set to produce.

No director is attached to call action.

Still, production is hoped to begin in February.
