Taken Is "Tooken" For A Ride In Spoof

Deadline reports that Elevate Entertainment is prepping for a summer production start for the comedy spoof  "Tooken".

The movie pokes fun of the sub genre, specifically the Liam Neeson film "Taken" and the other films of its kind that have tried to duplicate its success.

Cameron Van Hoy and John Asher wrote the screenplay, from which Asher will direct.

Kelly Noonan will produce the film.

Casting is now underway.
