Heading To Haddonfield

Rob Zombie' s Halloween II tanked big time...And now we know who is gonna replace him on the next installment.

According to Variety, Patrick Lussier has just been hired to write and direct the third installment of the "Halloween" reboot. And as in Lussier’s most recent work "My Bloody Valentine 3-D"--H 3 will also be in 3-D.

Lussier has also directed "Dracula 2000" and was the film editor on Wes Craven's "Scream". films.

Rumors swirled that Steve Miner might come back to the series were just that rumors He helmed Halloween H20: 20 Years Later which Lussier ironically edited in '98

Lussier isn't a terrible choice--I suppose... The 3-D thing bothers me more than anything else right now. Michael Myers deserves better than a gimmick.
