Jaimie Alexander and the great Colm Feore signed up for the big screen adaptation of "Thor" according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth), a powerful but arrogant warrior God is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment for his recklessness. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.
Alexander is playing Sif, a skilled Asgardian warrior who can hold her own against any man and is one of Thor's loves. Feore's character will be a villain but details are being kept secret.
Feore can play a great villian...For proof please see the TV mini series "Storm of the Century"
Alexander likes playing in love triangles--Proof of which can be seen by viewing repeats of TV's late series Kyle Xy.
Already cast Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki, the god of mischief who serves as the movie's main villain; Brian Blessed as Odin and Natalie Portman as Thor's human love, Jane Foster..
Kenneth Branagh directs the epic fantasy from Mark Protosevich's script.
