Scott Glenn has been cast in Zack Snyder’s "Sucker Punch" says Variety.Set in the 1950s, the film follows Babydoll (Emily Browning) who is sent to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man.
Glenn will play a mentor and guide to Babydoll and the other girls in the asylum.
Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish, Jamie Chung, Oscar Isaac, Jon Hamm, Vanessa Hudgens and Carla Gugino co-star.
The release date is set for March 25, 2011
