Jay Chandrasekhar will direct the comedy "Shotgun Wedding," says Variety.The story concerns an avowed bachelor who suddenly calls his friends to join him on a weekend trip for his wedding.

While the Super Troopers helmer has made the jump to a more mainstream comedies like the film version of "The Dukes of Hazzard" and "Beerfest." this pic just sounds like a knock off of The Hangover .
Anyway production kicks off this November in New Orleans.
