Cohen Makes Newton An Action Hero

Rob Cohen ("Stealth," "The Fast and the Furious") will direct an action film based on the life of Sir Isaac Newton says Variety.

The 17th century physicist, mathematician, astronomer, natural philosopher, alchemist, and theologian is credited with laying the foundations for most classical mechanics.

Cohen will not only write an original screenplay for the film but he will also guide the design of a graphic novel based on the time in Newton's life when he served as chief detective and head of the British Mint.

Gene Kirkwood ("Rocky") will produce the picture.
