In the movie Phillippe plays a fading movie star who is suddenly kidnapped, held hostage and tortured while filming a low-budget film in the Louisiana city.
Phillippe also penned the script with Joe Gossett and will also produce the pic with Holly Wiersma and Mark Burg.
Production kicks off this summer in Louisiana.
