Vaughan Makes A "Mixtape"

Tom Vaughan ("Starter for 10," "What Happens In Vegas") will direct the coming of age comedy "Mixtape" says Deadline.

Stacey Menear wrote the Black List script about a 12-year-old girl who never knew her mother--who ends up finding a mixtape that once belonged to said mom, she accidentally destroys it. Since the music on the tape is the only link she has to her deceased parents, the girl sets out to track down each of the obscure songs listed on the tape’s case. She finds out things about her parents and herself along the way.

Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray will produce the film.

I like the premise folks--could be quite fun.
