Eckhart Is POTUS In "Olympus"

Aaron Eckhart ("The Dark Knight") has been cast as the U.S. President in the actioner "Olympus Has Fallen " says Variety.

Creighton Rothenberger and Katrin Benedikt wrote the script about a Secret Service agent (Gerard Butler) who becomes America's only hope when the The White House is taken over by terrorists.

Antoine Fuqua's calling action

Production kicks off in September.

The project is not to be confused with a rival project with the similar action-thriller White House Down.
